School is back! Or almost back, at least for most of us. Making lunchtime exciting for you kids is one of the best ways to get them to eat their lunch. There’s nothing worse than your little ones coming home with a lunchbox of food that’s barely been touched! These Two Tone Sandwiches are a simple way to make lunchtime fun and takes minimal effort on your end!

For these sandwiches the possibilities are endless and you’ll be sure to be greeted with a empty lunchbox at school pickup when you make this sandwich. Everything from the spreads and toppings to the shape of the cookie cutter you use is up to you. If you want a rocket ship or a flower two tone sandwich with whipped cream cheese with strawberries or hummus with pickles GO FOR IT! Make these however you want!

I’m a huge fan of using cookie cutters to transform a seemingly boring lunch into something eye catching and exciting to eat. I use them to make Monogram SandwichesWaffle Heart Sandwiches and so much more! Adding different shapes, textures and colors to your kids’ lunchboxes will make their eyes light up when it’s time to eat their lunch!

What’s your go-to sandwich combo? I’ve been going savory lately with hummus and crunchy vegetables but a sweet combination of nut butter with bananas or strawberries and a few dark chocolate chips is also a great one. Like I said before, there’s no wrong way to make a Two Tone Sandwich. Let your imagination run wild!

Two Tone Sandwiches are cute, fun and a great way to make a simple sandwich into something exciting! Tag me on social media if you make these.
