Sunny Side Up Veggie Burger

Ingredients  

  • 1 plant-based burger patty (recipe ideas below)
  • 1 teaspoon butter or oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 hamburger bun

Instructions 

  • Cook burger patty according to package directions, or start with one of the recipes linked below.
  • Heat a small saute pan over medium heat, add butter or oil and crack the egg into the pan. Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes or until the yolk is golden and the egg white is cooked through.
  • Place the burger on the bottom bun, top with the egg and remaining bun.
