Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt

Ingredients  

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 apples, cored peeled and cut into chunks (gala, fuji, or any crisp apple)
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup, divided
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Cup greek yogurt

Instructions 

  • Heat butter in a medium saute pan over medium heat.
  • Add the apples, cinnamon, 1 tbsp maple syrup and lemon juice and stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook the apples for 8 minutes or until tender. Allow to cool.
  • In a separate bowl combine the greek yogurt and 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
  • Place 1 tbsp of apple mixture in a glass, then 2 tbsp of the yogurt and repeat.
  • Serve.
