Wee-Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients  

  • 1 pound medium or large shrimp (I buy frozen shrimp and defrost them before cooking)
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Horseradish Root, peeled and grated OR 1 Tbsp Jarred Horseradish
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup (I like using Krazy Ketchup because it’s made from all good stuff)

Instructions 

  • Bring 2 inches of water to a boil in a steamer pot.
  • Place the shrimp in a steamer basket above the water.
  • Cook for 3 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  • While the shrimp are cooking, combine horseradish and ketchup in a bowl.
  • Run shrimp under cool water to stop cooking.
  • Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
