4th of July Fruit Wands

Fun and festive 4th of July Fruit Wands are a kids dream! They're a great activity to get them involved in the kitchen and eating some fresh fruit!

Ingredients  

  • 1 watermelon preferably seedless
  • 2 pints blueberries
  • 20 wooden skewers

Instructions 

  • Slice the watermelon into 1 inch round slices, and then cut out star shapes using a three-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.
  • Gently slide the blueberries on wooden skewers and finally place a watermelon star on the top. Or add blueberries and watermelon stars in whatever order you prefer!
  • Place the skewers in a tall glass or in decorated floral foam as an edible centerpiece.
