Peanut Butter Yogurt DipPin

The idea for today’s recipe was sent to me by a Weelicious reader. Her kid loves when she makes it and so she wanted to share it with me. I altered it slightly and it turned out to be just as big of a hit with my two kids as it was with her’s.

I tend to make savory dips, but sweet ones like this Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip can be a fun change of pace and since it’s made with Greek yogurt and any kind of nut butter your family enjoys, it’s also a great way to give your kids a double shot of protein.

Served alongside fruit, pretzels, or crackers; spread on toast; or even swirled into hot cereal, it’s truly simple, kid-friendly, and sooooooo scrumptious.

  1. This treat is made regularly in our home. Adults and kids alike gobble this up as a snack or as a quick and easy breakfast or lunch for those picky days. I have served this with apples, bananas, pretzels, toast or English muffins, graham crackers, berries, and even celery. This is also impressive for play dates. Moms always ask for the recipe!

  2. I can’t remember which specific brand this was. We love Mary’s Gone Crackers for gluten free treats. Have you tried those?

  3. What is the toast that you are serving here? I have a GF child that I would like to serve something like this to – but other than GF pretzels or Rice Crackers & fruit/veggies – I’m not sure what to use in place of the toast. I’m always open to new ideas!

    Thanks!

  7. We made this today for the Children’s Christmas Party for my husband’s squadron. In case anyone had allergies, I used sunbutter instead of PB, and it was a huge hit! Thanks for the delicious idea!

  8. I eat this all the time! Depending what I have I might use vanilla greek yogurt without the honey added. My one year old LOVES this for breakfast with some fresh or canned peaches mixed in and some wheat germ sprinkled on top (he won’t eat peaches unless they are mixed in…kids are weird….)

  9. OMG! This is delicious! Made it with peanut butter and I think I could finish the whole thing off with a spoon! My toddler basically did!

  10. Just made this (with almond butter and non-Greek yogurt) and I want to eat the whole thing! Very tasty! I’m sure my girlfriends will enjoy it when I bring it to our game night tonight.

  11. I haven’t had it separate, but it also has lasted more than 3 days in my fridge. it all gets eaten!

  12. YES, please! This sounds delicious. 🙂 I might whip this up with almond butter so I can send it with my son to school.

  13. Just had this today! I used the Bees Knees pb from Peanut Butter and Co, soo good! I’ve also tried almond butter, which is amazing. Thanks!!
