I’ve rarely met a kid (or an adult for that matter) that doesn’t like carrots. I couldn’t resist buying these multicolored carrots that Chloe and I found at the farmers market. You can use any type of carrot you find for this recipe, but I just thought these were so fun and beautiful so I had to try them!

Carrots are packed with fiber and beta-carotene which the body converts into vitamin A, necessary for healthy skin and vision. When the carrots are sautéed with the sweet orange juice in this recipe, they become coated with a delicious, sweet glaze and no sugar is needed. These are perfect for a quick and easy holiday dish or any time of the year for that matter.

These carrots are one of my favorite side dishes to make for a a special occasion because they’re super simple, but the flavors make it seem like you spent hours in the kitchen perfecting it! We make these often throughout the year, but they’re always around on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  1. […] under family, food   i was searching for easy healthy snacks for dmitri and i came across this recipe for glazed carrots and they are really amazing. i did not measure my ingredients and i added a bit of soy sauce […]

  2. Made these for the first time over the weekend – they were so easy and delicious. Thought there would be leftovers, but I was wrong! Definitely a new go-to carrot recipe.

  3. I’ve made these twice and they are super yummy! But, I’m obsessing about getting the crystal-ly looking orange glaze… because it seems like it would be even more delicious that way. (I’m a total novice at cooking and I’m sure I’m missing a step or doing something wrong. My carrots just seem to absorb the juice, but the glaze thing isn’t happenin). Thank you so much for your help and for having this blog!!!!
