This Orange Glazed Carrots recipe takes regular sautéed carrots to the next level! My entire family is in love with this recipe and gets so excited when I say I’m making them.
I’ve rarely met a kid (or an adult for that matter) that doesn’t like carrots. I couldn’t resist buying these multicolored carrots that Chloe and I found at the farmers market. You can use any type of carrot you find for this recipe, but I just thought these were so fun and beautiful so I had to try them!
Carrots are packed with fiber and beta-carotene which the body converts into vitamin A, necessary for healthy skin and vision. When the carrots are sautéed with the sweet orange juice in this recipe, they become coated with a delicious, sweet glaze and no sugar is needed. These are perfect for a quick and easy holiday dish or any time of the year for that matter.
These Orange Glazed Carrots will definitely be making our Thanksgiving menu this year, but we love carrots year round to be honest. We make so many recipes with them like Roast Carrot Coins, Carrot Ginger Soup, Carrot Pineapple Muffins and these delicious Carrot Cake Pancakes. Carrots are so good for you and my kids love them, so I work them into our weekly meal plans as much as I can!
These carrots are one of my favorite side dishes to make for a a special occasion because they’re super simple, but the flavors make it seem like you spent hours in the kitchen perfecting it! We make these often throughout the year, but they’re always around on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
