For some time now I’ve been feeling the desire to shake things up a bit here at Weelicious. Well, I am proud to announce that I finally found exactly what I’ve been looking for!
Each Wednesday, Weelicious is going to feature some new offerings. Don’t worry, I’ll still be bringing you TONS of healthy family recipes, instructive weekly cooking videos, and lots of awesome giveaways you’ll love, but those things will be accompanied by a weekly sprinkling of cool DIY projects, plentiful Penny Pinching ideas, creative kid’s party ideas, product reviews and suggestions, and lastly, some of my favorite discoveries from around the web.
Joining me at Weelicious to bring this to you are some very special and knowledgable ladies. Today, the first Wednesday of this new venture, I am excited to introduce you to Staci of Chester and Company! Staci is one of my favorite mom friends and a talented jewelry designer. She is super creative and constantly coming up with amazing new projects and clever cost saving ideas. She strives to lead an artful and adventurous life and I’m blessed to have her here sharing her wisdom with you.
I was so inspired seeing what Staci does with her little ones’ ‘holey’ socks, we got our kids together this weekend to make these leg warmers. Along the way we also ended up turning past-their-prime socks into into cute puppets, mittens and even arm warmers.
See how easy these leg warmers are to make, and have fun enjoying an inexpensive and useful activity for the kids, too.
Stay tuned for new surprises every Wednesday and now, with no further adieu, take it away Staci!
How many pairs of socks do you have with holes? If your kids are like my kids, wearing shoes over socks just doesn’t seem to make sense. Going anywhere in just socks is so much more fun! Because of this our socks are always sporting holes. Got any ballerina’s in your house? Or live in the snow and need a little extra around your legs? Instead of throwing them out, cut off the feet and use as leg warmers. Tres chic!
