Not only is Three Seed Brittle ridiculously easy to prepare, but it makes the perfect DIY holiday gift for teachers and friends.

Three Seed Brittle from WeeliciousPin

I love a pretty gift. I love a homemade gift. I love an easy gift.

This Three Seed Brittle satisfies all three of those criteria and it will likely have the recipient of this addictively delicious gift thinking you’re a sophisticated and experienced baker. But honestly, this recipe couldn’t be any easier.

Most candy brittles are made with nuts, but this one is packed with a variety of seeds, turning this treat into something truly out of the ordinary. The seeds caramelize right in the sweet honey and brown rice syrup and transform into a sweet and crunchy holiday treat that’s perfect to make and individually wrap up as a unique gift for that special teacher, mailman or hostess in your life. I bet you get such a good response in fact that you may decide to make it your signature holiday gift for years to come!

  3. Hi! Just tried it – delicious! However mine is still a bit greasy – how much is 1 tbs butter? 15 grams? Or do I melt the butter first and do a liquid measure? Thanks!

  4. I’m now making my 3rd batch! Fabulous recipe. This time I added Chia seeds also (not too much since they expand, 1 Tbl). Thank you for this great gift idea.

  5. Just made this with my 4 year old daughter!!! YUM! We couldn’t stop eating it out of the bowl! What a great idea. Just as a side note – I added maple syrup, pine nuts and toasted almond shavings as well :))

  6. this is lovely! I am going to try making this for my extended family for Christmas eve!

  7. I always double the recipe because it is so delicious. We love to eat this with greek yogurt and sometimes ice cream.

  8. I made this today and used 3 tbs maple syrup in place of the brown rice syrup. I cooked it for 10 min and it turned out perfectly! Thanks for another great recipe!

  9. Dying to try this- but, found this just after grocery shopping, and a N’orester is about to hit Maine…I may play around with a little molasses & more honey instead of BRS, as I have none on hand. I think BRS is less sweet than maple/honey/molasses, right?

  10. Would honey work in place of BRS? I found with research that it contains higher traces of arsenic in it so we don’t use it.
